Ok, so many of us are playing the King of the Hill scenario and play testing literally tons of different ideas. There's the Amalar teams, with their "You shall not pass" theory, and the Warrior/Pallie teams doing about the same thing with the Foreman's Reinforced Helm. Other's are playtesting 12 honor teams like Murlocs or Marlowes, while still other's are opting for ways to beat these immovable objects.
The key? All of them are either "You can't move me" type teams, or "You can't kill me" type teams.
This week, let's look at a interesting combination of both, and slightly borrow both Siggie's own Blessing of Shadows, and BlackBloc's JezzJaina team, but for this time around, no Jezz and one Namrah, and we'll call it, "Ladies Night Out"
Total Honor: 26 Raw, 28 with Bulwark
What's a Ladies Night Out without a good protector right? These chicks are aiming to party, throw bombs, and need their fearless dwarf buddy to make sure they are safe from scalywags while doing so.
A lot of people know the tricks with Savin, he's easily one of, if not THE most played alliance character in constructed. And why not? He's a 3/3/8 stat bar, accompanied by the ability to heal, pound out damage, and make any caster a downright bomb. This pint size puny packs a powerful punch.
Alliteration aside though, and you look at what this team is capable of and it's downright scary. Sure, Namrah is 8 honor but when you think that in Shadow Form, she can start throwing 2 tick, 7 dice attacks, with +1 dice from Jaina, +1 dice from shadow form, and -1 tick from Savin, and she almost guarantees to be healing her adjacent allies every time she's attacking. That's some serious DPS with some serious healing!
Finally, Jaina, everyone's favortie mage, comes packing her pet and some tricks. Jain, with Savin, is ticking 1 for a 4 dice AOE. Softening people up for Namrah's beat down. The Greater Water Elemental is also doing the same thing, potentially throwing 4 dice next to Jaina. If all that wasn't good enough, she can Ice Block on the Hill and get you some much needed VPs, or Polymorph that pesky opponent when needed to take a tactical advantage.
It's a high honor team, but it's one that bears some testing in mind. with some interesting trickey of Mind Flay and Healing, along with the -1 move (which is KILLER on this map/scenario), plus the ability to heal a LOT of points betwee Namrah's lower tick/higher dice attacks and Flash of Light, Ladies Night Out looks to be a party, literally!
PS - Yes, I know, this is like the third article in a row about Alliance. I promise some For the Horde love and Monster Mania is coming. :-)
