Isgee Vs. Ohmsford
Ge the Log File for Vassal ere: Log File for Game 1
As the popularity for the Vassal Battle of the Boards is growing, we're happy to bring you round II of the showdowns with Ohmsford bringing Velen and his Paladin friends known as the WALL to face off against Isgee and the plentiful pets of Jaina Zoo...
The big question in this game is can the staying power of Wall hold off the bombardment of Zoo and the sheer amount of attacks it plans on throwing at it. And, o summoning the Greater Water elemental, an Old Bones, and a Fury, all out on tick 1, Isgee wasn't fooling around.
Starting off, it looked good for Isgee, who got Graccus down to 2 health, however a failed Flash of Light and a successful Flash of Light later and he was back to 5... only to see Velen then use a Wrath of Air and a Chain Heal and everyone was back at full!
Speaking of dice and sheer amounts, one of the big turning points in the gmae was Velen's three main attcaks made over the course of the game. All three hit for all 6 dice, and 2 of the three crit. Pain Train was coming, with the whistle blowing!
At the end of Tick 3, Savin was on the Hill and he never, ever, looked back, ultimately getting Ohms 16 huge points by being the King of the Hill!
A major point in the game came on tick 1 after the first full cycle, and Isgee had everyone lined up, with the animals coming too, however, critting on almost every single attack, pushed Savin up to 6 armor (his highest during the game was 7), and kept allowing the paladin to save against even the best of rolls. Needing to have killed Graccus on that tick, Isgee was in the hole 18 to 4 at this point, with a 7 armor Savin, sitting on the hill without just over half his health.
In the end, VelenWall proved too much, as time was called on tick 8 of the second cycle, with a score of Ohmsford 28 and Isgee 8.
Unforutnately, round 2 and 3 need to be postponed for some real life items needing to be attended to by Ohms, but there is a plan to reschedule games 2 and potential 3, to see the final outcome!
For the moment... advantage Ohmsford!
