This week, Worlds is almost upon us. So why not utilize this time to give you two good minis that you can use at Worlds and start some discussion? We have roughly over a week to get those last minute warbands put together and try out any meta breaking ideas you may have had.

I have to commend UDE. When I was at Gencon, I had a discussion with Ben, albeit it was short, but I made mention that I hoped that whatever happened with Worlds, that the map dictated the meta. Lo and Behold, my wishes were answered. The scenario and the map are both extremely fun to play, so hats off to them, they did a great job!

I've talked to many people about what their strategy is. Some people are very open, some are very close to the chest. I can tell you without a doubt, the thing I hear the most, is Lycanthropy (which just for the record is lahy-kan-thruh-pee) :-)

So, since there is only one werewolf... we'll begin there.

Now, he is VERY good at night, and he makes his friends good at night. What I have been playing, and you may have two, is a little metal buddy to go with him...

Our mechanical marauder will bring to the table:
Fog of War
Swiftness Potion

If you haven't tried it yet, do not knock it. Fog of War is already a perfect card for Goblin Shredder, as you can ready it every turn once you pop your swiftness potion. However, you add in the option now of +1 move every turn once you capture the flag and things get very interesting. Add to that the possibility of being buffed with said Lycanthropy, and it's a wild night for sure! And, I haven't even started on the 2 tick 5 dice attack, that can potentially, if positioned right, grant you 20 dice for 2 ticks between 6 and 10. Nuuuuuuts.... and bolts!

So, as is normal with our little articles here, we need your opinion of what's the third you would play. Me personally, I've been toying around with a Felguard Legionnaire as he can bring a Dark Portal and a Demonic Curse, which is quite helpful on this map.
